The Hurricane season is not over yet and we have all been prepared for the worst. Luckily our children have remained unscathed so far. Port-au-Prince itself has escaped the worst excesses of three devastating hurricanes this year. Our sympathies go to all those affected.
Thanks to a private donation the children are currently enjoying 2 months of English Language tuition with a local teacher. They are eager to learn and some of them showed astonishing progress after only 18 hours of tuition.
In the wake of Hurricane Matthew we are happy to report that all of the children are safe and sound. Full preparations for the Hurricane were in place and we are delighted that the 'hurricane proof' structures built to home the children are intact.

Bob recently acquired new benches and tables for the children to sit at while doing their homework. A basic need met for the increased number of children doing homework.
